What exactly is live translation?
Share one phone and take turns speaking English or Mandarin Chinese. Read both languages on screen; optional read-aloud uses voices available on your device. One active microphone per pass. Each turn lasts up to 2 minutes, and you can start the next turn immediately. Microphone-on time, including silence, counts toward your allowance.
Will it work on my phone in China?
It needs a working internet connection and a browser with microphone permission (Chrome or Safari recommended). It is not an offline translator. Open outside WeChat’s embedded browser. Local network restrictions and noisy environments can affect performance. Check microphone access below before buying; this check does not test the translation network.
Are bookings or human help included?
No. The pass provides automated tools. It does not include guided tours, bookings, guaranteed meetups, emergency assistance or a human interpreter. Confirm important details, prices and allergies directly.
What if something goes wrong?
Contact support@chinadayout.com with your pass reference. We review technical issues and refund requests individually. Your applicable statutory rights are unaffected. There is no automatic renewal to cancel.
